Even the great challenges of poverty, family estrangement or severe depression can be overcome through the power of faith, prayer, and perseverance. Ricardo and Paulina learned this in their lives, and have found happiness even during those difficult times.
“Joining the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints doesn’t mean our problems will go away or that everything will be magic from then on,” Ricardo says, “but we can find a way to move forward with faith.”
“I invite you to pray and talk to the missionaries, or talk to a member of the Church,” Paulina encourages, “so you can feel it for yourself.”

Incluso los grandes desafíos de la pobreza, el distanciamiento familiar o la depresión severa pueden superarse mediante el poder de la fe, la oración y la perseverancia. Ricardo y Paulina aprendieron esto en sus vidas y han encontrado la felicidad incluso en esos momentos difíciles.
“Unirse a la Iglesia de Jesucristo de los Santos de los Últimos Días no significa que nuestros problemas desaparecerán ni que todo será mágico a partir de entonces”, dice Ricardo, “pero podemos encontrar la manera de seguir adelante con fe”.
“Los invito a orar y hablar con los misioneros, o con un miembro de la Iglesia”, anima Paulina, “para que puedan sentirlo por sí mismos”.
