One of the greatest challenges of life is when your spouse loses their cognitive abilities as they age. To see them slip away from reality is heartbreaking and challenging at many levels. When Angela’s husband of 63 years was diagnosed with both Alzheimers and Dementia, she had tough decisions to make, and she chose him. Day after day, month after month, Angela lived up to her name and was at his side, even though he often failed to recognize her.
