Because of very strict laws in Iran, Reza never learned of Christianity or The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints until he moved to Canada for his education and career. Then, quite by chance, he met two missionaries and they began discussing the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ. Reza was impressed. The more he studied and participated, the more convinced he became that he had found his true religion. “I invite you to come to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints,” he says. “Come and participate and I will be glad to welcome you.”

به دلیل قوانین بسیار سختگیرانه در ایران، رضا هرگز از مسیحیت یا کلیسای عیسی مسیح قدیسان آخرالزمان چیزی نفهمید تا اینکه برای تحصیل و حرفه خود به کانادا نقل مکان کرد. سپس، کاملاً اتفاقی، با دو مبلغ مذهبی آشنا شد و آنها شروع به بحث در مورد انجیل احیا شده عیسی مسیح کردند. رضا تحت تأثیر قرار گرفت. هر چه بیشتر مطالعه و مشارکت میکرد، بیشتر متقاعد میشد که دین واقعی خود را پیدا کرده است. او میگوید: «من از شما دعوت میکنم به کلیسای عیسی مسیح قدیسان آخرالزمان بیایید. بیایید و شرکت کنید و من خوشحال خواهم شد که از شما استقبال کنم.»
