In Nigeria, many churches ask their members for all kinds of contributions so the pastor or bishop can pray for them. But Mercy learned otherwise when she joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. “In this Church, they won’t ask you to buy special water, or special clothing, or bring eggs for someone to pray for you,” she says. “The only thing you need to pray is faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. They don’t use goats, they don’t use fowl, they don’t use cow to pray.”

Today, Wilfred and Mercy invite Ikwerre people all over the world to join them in their wonderful faith in Jesus Christ. “All these things we say are true,” Wilfred testifies. “Come and join us.”
