When Claudia attended school with members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she saw a light in them that she lacked. “At that moment in my life I felt lost,” she says. “I felt stranded without a guide.” And that’s when she invited the missionaries to teach her about the Restored Gospel.
Claudia soon learned for herself in a miraculous way that the the Book of Mormon is true and that Joseph Smith is the prophet of the Restoration. “I never had a doubt that God exists, or that Jesus Christ is my Savior,” she testifies. “But my commitment was not at the same level as now. It is so much more important for me to do the right things now.”

Cuando Claudia asistía a la escuela con miembros de La Iglesia de Jesucristo de los Santos de los Últimos Días, vio en ellos una luz que le faltaba. “En ese momento de mi vida me sentí perdida”, dice. “Me sentí abandonada, sin guía”. Y fue entonces cuando invitó a los misioneros a que le enseñaran sobre el Evangelio Restaurado.
Claudia pronto aprendió por sí misma, de forma milagrosa, que el Libro de Mormón es verdadero y que José Smith es el profeta de la Restauración. “Nunca dudé de la existencia de Dios ni de que Jesucristo es mi Salvador”, testifica. “Pero mi compromiso no estaba al mismo nivel que ahora. Ahora es mucho más importante para mí hacer lo correcto”.
