I Felt Peace Come Over Me

Mary was tricked into learning about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She thought the missionaries were coming to explain what her new friend would be doing as a missionary. “Lo and behold, they started teaching me about the Gospel,” she says with a smile, “and it just answered a lot of my questions.” Little did Mary realize how much that would bless her later when her father passed away. Instead of being lost in grief, she felt peace and happiness, knowing where his soul had gone and that he was okay.

Later, Mary followed her friend into the mission field to share the good news of the Restored Gospel with others. She urges everyone to listen to the missionaries and discover that peace as well.
