Named after a fictional character by the name of Professor Josiah Flintabbatey FlonatinĀ (created by J.E.P. Murdoch), Flin Flon, Manitoba is the most pictuesque area we’ve been in. But we had little time to sit and watch the sunset.

The old Angell’s Motel was built by the owner’s grandfather, who is now himself is in his 80’s. It sits on the shores of Denare Beach, just across the Manitoba border in Saskatchewan.
It’s on old property, but we were made welcome and enjoyed our stay.
We captured the faith stories of three different families while here. We were so impressed with how the members here have kept the faith in spite of the cultural challenges of living in a mining town.
