We’re Leaving Thompson for a Much Larger Mission Assignment in August

Our new service area spans from Winnipeg Canada to International Falls, MN, U.S.A. which is a four hour drive in good weather.
________
We’ll have two apartments, one in Winnipeg where we’ll spend one week per month, and the other in International Falls, MN where we’ll spend three.
________
In Winnipeg, we’ll shoot many video testimonials of people from all over the world. Missionaries will schedule appointments for us with members who have migrated from other countries and speak a wide variety of languages. Once recorded and edited, each short video (8-10 minutes) will be in the native tongue of the member with English subtitles. We are unsure how we will do this since we anticipate languages of all dialects.
________
We’ll use these faith stories as tools for friends of the Church to hear testimonies in their own tongue.
________
We  will build and manage a website for the videos and share them using social media.
________
We will promote firesides to invite friends to come and see, then share their own faith stories in a group setting.
________
While in International Falls, we will edit and produce the recorded videos while building cross-nation relationships between the ward and branches there. We will create a combined branch where all can feel included, which will not be easy because of nation biases.
________
We’re very excited and a bit overwhelmed with these new assignments, but we can feel the hand of the Lord guiding His work. We’re deeply humbled to be using our imperfect talents and near-perfect testimonies to help gather Israel.
________
Hurrah for Israel!
