Where I Found Peace

Eritrea grew up with a strong Christian foundation, yet questions still lingered in her heart. She explored many faiths, sincerely seeking a closer connection with God—but something still felt missing. Then one day, as she passed a Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, a quiet stirring touched her soul. When she met the missionaries and began learning about Christ’s Restored Gospel, that feeling deepened into peace.

“You have to feel broken,” Eritrea says softly. “You have to cry to God. When you do that, your heart opens—to truth, to joy, and to lasting peace.”
