Walking on the Water

It is often in the hardest times of life—not when everything is easy—that real faith is discovered. That was true for Alaiza when her father was dying from Leukemia. “I thought, why is God doing this to my dad?” she says. But through that trial, she found her faith in Jesus Christ and His plan of happiness.

“You might feel like you’re drowning and probably can’t swim back to the top to get air,” Alaiza says. “But I want to testify that, like Peter, if you just give your hand to the Lord, He will help you back up on your feet where you’re supposed to be.”
