Five Miracles

Doug and Val didn’t know it, but their life was about to get changed dramatically by five rapid miracles. Engaged to be married, life had gotten boring for the young couple. The parties and social scene had gone flat. So, when Doug asked God for help one evening, the answer came within a few hours. In rapid succession, Doug and Val were introduced to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, converted by the power of the Holy Spirit, and their whole future life was suddenly “like a breath of fresh air,” as Val puts it. Today, as seasoned members of the Church, they can look back and see the miracles as tender mercies from a loving Heavenly Father. “It’s a perfect situation,” Val says. “We make promises with Heavenly Father, and He makes wonderful promises back.”
