I Needed Doctrine

The church where Audrey was raised taught her about God and Jesus Christ, and she felt them close to her. But she had a problem. Her church did not encourage owning a Bible, and her family never practiced religion at home. “I needed more,” she says. “I needed structure and doctrine.” After suffering tragic loss, Audrey and her husband were introduced to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. And as they learned and read, Audrey knew she had found the doctrine she lacked. “This is the place to be,” she testifies with sincere emotion.
