My Evergreen

Losing a baby during or before birth is one of the most difficult experiences a parent can have, especially for the mother who carried it. Julie experienced this and it rocked her world, even bringing the faith crisis of her life. But, as a members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Julie and her husband Kieran knew where to turn. Through fasting, prayer and scripture study, she finally got her answer. And to her surprise, it came from a child’s book in a thrift store. She ends her story by singing an original song she wrote about her experience, called Evergreen.
